     On page 2, line 33, strike lines 33 and 34 and insert "not organized for private profit)) corporation, religious association, religious educational institution, or religious society with respect to the employment"

EFFECT:  The definition of "employer" does not include any religious educational institution, religious corporation, religious association, or religious society with respect to the employment of individuals of a particular religion to perform work for the educational institution, corporation, association, or society.  The amendment makes 2SHB 1445 consistent with federal law.
