     On page 2, beginning on line 4, after "control" strike everything through "act" on page 2 line 5

     On page 2, line 36, after "chapter." insert "Animal care and control agencies may enforce the provisions of this chapter in a county only if the county legislative authority has entered into a contract with the agency to enforce the provisions of this chapter."

EFFECT:  Animal care and control agencies may only enforce the provisions of the chapter if the county legislative authority has entered into a contract with the agency to enforce animal cruelty laws.
