On page 2, line 19, strike "five hundred thousand" and insert "one million"
EFFECT: A port district is required to use commissioner districts if the port district is coterminous with a county that has a population of less than five hundred thousand or more than one million. This retains the existing election law for the Port of Tacoma so that the Port of Tacoma continues to elect its commissioners on an at large bassi, but requires the Port of Seattle to elect its commissioners using commissioner districts.
