    On page 2, line 9, after "known." insert "The department of corrections shall forward to the department of social and health services the sum of twenty-seven thousand dollars for each juvenile offender transferred to the custody of the division of juvenile rehabilitation under this section.  This sum shall be prorated based on the amount of time a juvenile is transferred to the juvenile facility."

EFFECT:  Requires the department of corrections to pay $27,000 per year to the department of social and health services for each juvenile transferred from an adult corrections facility to a juvenile detention facility.
