EFFECT:  Raises the fee for an original concealed pistol license from $23 to $30, and the fee for a renewal license from $15 to $20.  The amendment distributes the fees to the same recipients, on approximately the same percentage basis, as currently designated by statute.  In comparison, SHB 2906 raises the fee for an original license to $65, and the fee for a renewal license to $55, and changes the fee distribution.
