     On page 63, beginning on line 32, strike "((; or (ii) If the officer believes)) which leads the officer to believe" and insert "; or (ii)  If the officer believes"

     Renumber the remaining subsections accordingly.

EFFECT:  Reinserts existing language which allows law enforcement to take a runaway to a location other than the family home if the child expresses fear at the prospect of returning home, or law enforcement believes child abuse or neglect may have occurred in the family home.
