     On page 115, line 36, after "if any" strike "and the reasons for the restrictions"

     On page 117, line 30, after "(d)" strike all language through and including "(e)" on page 117, line 33.

EFFECT:  The amendment eliminates a requirement that hospital disclose the reasons that staff privileges were restricted or terminated because such disclosure may allow questions regarding the details that explain the reasons and that would undermine the confidentiality of quality assurance documents.

     The second amendment eliminates the subsection regarding disclosure of the reasons for restricting or terminating staff privileges at clinics entirely because it is not necessary.
