    Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.330 RCW to read as follows:

    It is the intent of the legislature that services provided by the department under this chapter shall supplement and not duplicate programs established under chapter . . . (Second Substitute Senate Bill No. 6174), Laws of 1994.  To accomplish this, the department shall:

    (1) Coordinate delivery of services to individuals and community organizations designed to provide assistance for the prevention of violence and sexual assault prevention and awareness under this chapter with services provided by networks established under RCW 70.190.--- (section 303, chapter . . . (Second Substitute Senate Bill No. 6174)), Laws of 1994;

    (2) Fully review each plan approved by the community public health and safety council as defined in RCW 70.190.010; and

    (3) Adopt a service delivery plan for programs that prevent violence that accommodates and works in conjunction with each plan approved by the community public health and safety council."

    On page 1, line 1 of the title, after "awareness;" strike the remainder of the title and insert "and adding a new section to chapter 43.330 RCW."
