    On page 1, after line 12, insert the following:

    "(b) The school facility shall provide at the main office or reception area a locked box and key to a weapon owner for weapon storage, or shall designate a school official to receive weapons for safekeeping, during the owner's visit to areas of the school facility.  The locked box or designated official shall be located within the school grounds.  The school district shall be liable for damage to or loss of a weapon either placed in a locked box or left with a school official during the owner's visit to the school grounds."

    Renumber remaining subsections accordingly.
