Background:  Six residential habilitation centers which provide services to people with developmental disabilities are permanently established in statute.

Summary of Substitute Bill:  The section of the revised code of Washington which permanently establishes six residential habilitation centers is repealed.

Substitute Bill Compared to Original Bill:  The reference to Interlake School is deleted from RCW.71.20A.020.  The remainder of the section is unchanged.

Effective Date of Substitute Bill:  The bill contains an emergency clause and takes effect immediately.
