BACKGROUND:
A person with a crop lien established by state law for those who furnish work or labor upon the land used to grow the crop must file a lien statement with the Department of Licensing. The lien must be filed after the commencement of the work or labor and within 20 days of the cessation of the work or labor.
SUMMARY:
The period during which a crop lien for work or labor must be filed with the Department of Licensing is extended by 10 days. It must now be filed within 30 days of the cessation of the work or labor.
