                      SYNOPSIS AS ENACTED

Brief Description:  Correcting references to the geographical landmark on Cape Shoalwater.

BACKGROUND:

The statutes reference the Cape Shoalwater Light for purposes of setting fishing areas by the Department of Fisheries.  The lighthouse was torn down and a new tower constructed 400 yards to the west.  A new reference must be used to set fishing area boundaries.  This will not make any changes in the fishing areas.

SUMMARY:

Reference to the Cape Shoalwater "Light" is changed to "Tower."
