Brief Description:  Concerning food fish and shellfish rules.

BACKGROUND:

 

Private tideland owners or lessees may take unlimited amounts of shellfish such as oysters, clams, cockles, borers or mussels from private tidelands or leased state tidelands.

 

Some tideland owners or lessees desire to allow family members to take unlimited quantities of shellfish from their tidelands.

 

SUMMARY:

 

Immediate family members of tideland owners or lessees may take unlimited quantities of shellfish from private or leased tidelands.  Immediate family member is defined to include spouse, brother, sister, grandparent, parent, child or grandchild.
