BACKGROUND:
On July 1, 1994, the new Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development (CTED) will be created, merging and eliminating the Departments of Trade and Economic Development (DTED) and Community Development (DCD). This merger requires recodifying sections of the RCW.
SUMMARY:
The RCW sections concerning the Department of Trade and Economic Development and the Department of Community Development are placed within the sections for the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development.
