BACKGROUND:

The Legislature established requirements for the Department of Fisheries to set long-term salmon policy statements.  The provision adopted in 1985 was complied with by the Department of Fisheries.  The section requiring the reporting and the long-term planning is no longer necessary.

SUMMARY:

RCW 75.50.020, requiring long-term regional policy statements, is repealed.
