Correcting a double amendment relating to auction sales of county property.


          AN ACT Relating to correcting a double amendment relating to auction sales of county property; and reenacting and amending RCW 36.34.080.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

        Sec. 1.  RCW 36.34.080 and 1991 c 363 s 68 and 1991 c 245 s 10 are each reenacted and amended to read as follows:

          All sales of county property ordered after a public hearing upon the proposal to dispose thereof must be supervised by the county treasurer and may be sold at a county or other government agency's public auction, at a privately operated consignment auction that is open to the public, or by sealed bid to the highest and best bidder ((over)) meeting or exceeding the minimum sale price as directed by the county legislative authority.
