Concerning collective bargaining for members of the Washington state patrol.

          AN ACT Relating to collective bargaining for Washington state patrol officers; adding a new section to chapter 41.56 RCW; and repealing RCW 41.56.475.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 41.56 RCW to read as follows:

          In addition to the classes of employees listed in RCW 41.56.030(7), the provisions of RCW 41.56.430 through 41.56.490 shall also be applicable to Washington state patrol officers appointed under RCW 43.43.020.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  RCW 41.56.475 and 1988 c 110 s 2 & 1987 c 135 s 3 are each repealed.
