HB 1010 - DIGEST

     Provides that a nonprofit association in its name may acquire, hold, encumber, or transfer an estate or interest in real or personal property.

     Prescribes a statement of authority as to real property.

     Establishes liability in contract and tort.

     Provides a nonprofit association with standing to assert a claim and defend in a legal proceeding.

     Provides for disposition of the personal property of an inactive nonprofit association.
