HB 1113 - DIGEST

     Regulates the conduct of going out of business sales in order to prevent unfair and deceptive acts or practices in trade and commerce, and to prevent unfair methods of competition.

     Requires a merchandiser to obtain a license to conduct a going out of business sale.

     Makes a knowing violation of the requirements of the act a gross misdemeanor offense.
