HB 1136 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

     Establishes a pilot program to provide home-matching services to enable people to continue living in their homes and to counter the problem of displacement among people on relatively low, fixed incomes by linking people offering living space with people seeking housing.

     Requires a report on the progress and status of the program by January 1, 1995.

     Makes an appropriation of two hundred fifty thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
