(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Authorizes a minor who is sixteen years of age or older to petition in the superior court for a declaration of emancipation.

     Establishes hearing procedures.

     Specifies that an emancipated minor shall be considered to have the power and capacity of an adult, with certain exceptions.

     Provides that the emancipation is voidable.

     Provides that the hours per day or per week may not be limited for emancipated minors.
