HB 1191 - DIGEST

     Requires an applicant for a concealed pistol license to demonstrate a justifiable need and to have a certificate indicating successful completion of a course on weapon safety.

     Provides that a person who makes a false statement regarding citizenship, identity, or other required information on an application for a concealed pistol license is guilty of a misdemeanor.

     Restricts the sale, transfer, or delivery of a pistol to anyone who does not have an issued license.

     Repeals RCW 9.41.093.
