HB 1289 - DIGEST

     Specifies the elements of the crime of negligent driving in the first and second degree as it relates to alcohol or drug violations.

     Establishes penalties for negligent driving in the first and second degree.

     Provides that, if a person is charged with a violation of RCW 46.61.500 through 46.61.540 and is convicted of a lesser offense, the court shall inform the department of licensing for inclusion of the information in the person's driving record.
