HB 1366 - DIGEST

     Provides for the regulation of commercial fund raisers.

     Specifies disclosures required of all charitable organizations seeking contributions.

     Requires written authorization to use an organization's name in soliciting contributions.

     Authorizes the attorney general to make investigations of registered charitable organizations.

     Provides civil penalties for violations of the act.

     Transfers charitable trust registration authority to the secretary of state.

     Repeals RCW 19.09.078.
