HB 1387 - DIGEST

     Authorizes the seizure of a motor vehicle when a person is convicted of a second violation of RCW 46.61.502 or 46.61.504 in a five year period.

     Declares that a seizure automatically commences proceedings for forfeiture of the vehicle.

     Establishes hearing procedures.

     Provides for the establishment of the value of the vehicle and designates disposition authority.
