HB 1443 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

     Expands the jurisdiction of the human rights commission to include practices of discrimination because of a person's familial status or sexual orientation.

     Does not require an employer to establish employment goals or quotas based on sexual orientation.

     Gives the commission the same administrative remedies that are available to federal agencies.
