HB 1448-S - DIGEST

(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Requires all tattooers and tatoo parlors to register with the secretary of health and pay an annual renewal registration fee.

     Requires a person receiving a tattoo to be at least eighteen or to provide a notarized letter from a parent allowing the minor to receive the tattoo.

     Provides a misdemeanor offense for violations of the act.
