HB 1486 - DIGEST

     Directs the department to contract with a professional testing agency to develop, administer, and score the journeyman and specialty electrician certification examinations.

     Provides for the acceptance of electrician credentials issued by other states.

     Repeals RCW 19.28.520 and 19.28.530.
