HB 1656 - DIGEST

     Allows a school district to elect to provide its own professional development services subject to the provisions of Title 28A RCW, or to contract with the education service district or another school district for the services.

     Directs the superintendent to distribute funds equitably.

     Allows school districts to provide their own beginning teacher assistance services.
