HB 1707 - DIGEST

     Authorizes the commission to implement a system to register motor carriers doing business in the state.

     Revises permit fee provisions.

     Establishes a regulatory fee based on the gross income from intrastate operations.

     Requires a person contesting a fee to pay the fee and petition for a refund.

     Repeals RCW 81.80.300 and 81.80.320.
