HB 1797 - DIGEST

     Prohibits an owner of a mobile home park or a low-income housing development from the sale, demolition, change of use, or other disposition of the park without affording an opportunity to purchase to a tenant association, a local nonprofit organization, or a local public agency.

     Establishes procedures for a bona fide offer to sale and for an acceptance of the offer.

     Authorizes local jurisdictions to set minimum qualification standards for purchasers.

     Authorizes civil penalties for violations of the act.
