HB 1844-S - DIGEST

     Establishes a process to allow owners of single-family residences abutting a lake or reservoir to petition to use water for noncommercial garden and landscape irrigation.

     Provides for public hearings in the area affected by the proposal.

     Requires an initial analysis of Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish.

     Authorizes a charge of one hundred dollars for authorization to use the water.
