HB 1908-S - DIGEST

(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Creates the Washington state community equalization program to assist the minority community in fighting youth gangs by providing economic opportunity for at-risk youths.

     Directs state agencies and educational institutions to allocate 0.5 percent out of moneys appropriated for the original construction of a public building to the state equalization account.
