     Provides for a pilot program entitled the Washington long-term care partnership, whereby private insurance and medicaid funds shall be combined to finance long-term care.

     Designates criteria for certification of long-term care insurance policies.

     Solicits federal approvals to carry out the provisions of the act.

     Requires reports on the progress of the act.
