HB 2008 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Authorizes designated special districts to reorganize into a drainage and irrigation district or a diking, drainage, and irrigation district.

     Establishes requirements and procedures for a special district to withdraw an area from its boundaries that is located within the boundaries of a city or town or an area that includes an area both within and adjacent to the boundaries of any city or town.

     Provides that property which is so withdrawn shall remain liable for any special assessments.

     Repeals RCW 85.07.080.
