HB 2058 - DIGEST

     Provides a homestead exemption for all owner-occupied single family residences, equal to the median value of homes in each county.

     Provides for recovery of the exemptions by raising the maximum property tax by ten percent.

     Establishes procedures and requirements for obtaining the exemption.

     Revises existing levy provisions.

     Requires the approval of the voters of a Constitutional amendment at the next general election.
