HB 2279 - DIGEST

     Creates the poison prevention task force.

     Authorizes the task force to grant extensions and exemptions from compliance with the requirement.

     Requires the task force to evaluate state-wide poisoning incidence and severity data for the prior two years and propose additional measures to reduce the incidence and severity of poisoning.

     Establishes penalties for violations of the act.

     Repeals RCW 70.106.040, 70.106.050, 70.160.060, 70.106.070, 70.106.080, and 70.106.090.
