HB 2310 - DIGEST

     Defines "minor speeding infraction" as a violation of the maximum speed limit of ten miles per hour or less, except in a school zone or construction zone.

     Authorizes a person to choose not to contest the infraction and pay a total monetary penalty of fifty dollars plus costs.

     Provides that the infraction shall not be reported to the department or to an insurance company.

     Authorizes the deposit of the moneys into an insurance verification account.
