HB 2409 - DIGEST

     Creates the office of international trade within the office of the governor and appoints a state trade representative to establish a viable, coordinated, and comprehensive approach to the state's international trade efforts.

     Establishes a state trade office in Canada, China, Mexico, and South Africa.

     Makes an appropriation of four hundred twenty-five thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
