     Establishes a community and school collaboration program, which shall fund and coordinate community-based projects to develop comprehensive community improvement activities at schools to meet the needs of students.

     Designates the goals of the program.

     Establishes requirements for funding applications.

     Provides an initial duration for the projects of two years.

     Makes an appropriation of one million one hundred seventy thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
