(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Authorizes the department to contract for a health professional temporary resource pool.

     Deletes screening responsibility for violations of the disciplinary act.

     Requires participating sites to be responsible for all salary expenses for a temporary substitute provider and to provide the substitute with referral and back-up coverage information.
