HB 2518 - DIGEST

     Prohibits the storage of a firearm in a location where the person knows, or reasonably should know that an unsupervised child is likely to gain access.

     Provides a gross misdemeanor penalty for a violation of the act.

     Requires a seller to offer a purchaser a trigger-locking device and to post notices warning of the penalty for leaving an unlocked firearm where children can obtain access.
