HB 2844 - DIGEST

     Establishes procedures and requirements for the issuance of citations alleging violations of industrial welfare laws.

     Prescribes penalties for violations of the act.

     Establishes appeal provisions.

     Allows the assessment of interest on back wages owed by an employer.

     Repeals RCW 49.12.161 and 49.12.170.
