     Imposes a tax on every admission ticket sold to a sporting event in the state.

     Directs the funds to be used to purchase or renovate recreational facilities for youth, to extend the operating hours of recreational centers, to research injury prevention, and to provide training to referees, umpires, and coaches.

     Establishes a youth recreation advisory committee.

     Provides an immunity from civil action for sponsors, managers, referees, and coaches for acts conducted in good faith.

     Makes an assault of a referee, manager, or coach a class C felony.

     Takes effect January 1, 1994.
