SB 5320-S.E - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Prohibits, after July 1, 1994, the use, sale, or distribution of a household laundry detergent that contains 0.5 percent or more phosphorus by weight or a household dishwashing detergent containing more than 8.7 percent phosphorus by weight.

     Authorizes the attorney general or prosecuting attorney to bring actions to enjoin the violation of the restrictions.
