SB 5320 - DIGEST

     Prohibits, after October 1, 1993, the use, sale, or distribution of a laundry detergent that contains 0.5 percent or more phosphorus by weight or a dishwashing detergent containing more than 8.7 percent phosphorus by weight.

     Declares that, after October 1, 1995, dishwashing detergents may not contain more than 6 percent phosphorus by weight.
