(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Revises provisions of chapter 60.56 RCW relating to agister liens.

     Establishes procedures to perfect a lien.

     Establishes notice requirements of the existence of a lien.

     Increases period for expiration of a lien from sixty to one hundred eighty days.

     Authorizes civil actions to recover damages sustained by a person's failure to provide the required notice regarding liens.
