SB 5574 - DIGEST

     Requires that credit reporting agencies maintain accurate credit reports, resolve disputed reports promptly and fairly, and adopt reasonable procedures to promote consumer confidentiality and the proper use of credit data.

     Authorizes a consumer reporting agency to charge fees for making a disclosure.

     Provides criminal and civil penalties for violations of the act.
