SB 5627 - DIGEST

     Provides property tax relief to low-income renters on their principal residences similar to that given to low-income senior citizen homeowners.

     Authorizes local funding of the program by county-wide property tax levies.

     Requires a report by January 1, 1995, with recommendations for improvements to the procedures.

     Requires approval by the voters at the next general election.
