SB 5754 - DIGEST

     Requires the department of ecology to adopt a schedule, by January 1, 1994, for assigning a hazard ranking to at least ten sites on the department's contaminated sites list.

     Requires the initiation of remedial action by July 1, 1995.

     Authorizes a settlement with persons whose contribution to the release is insignificant in amount and toxicity.

     Provides funding for the cleanup activities.
